- Are these real bank accounts?
- No. Every IBAN here is randomly generated. It has a valid format and correct check digits, but it does not map to any real account and does not belong to anyone. Never use one to send or receive money.
- Can I use these IBANs for testing?
- Yes, that is what they are for. They pass the same length and mod-97 check that production code runs, so they are ideal for form validation, demos, fixtures and sample data.
- How do I create an example IBAN?
- Pick a country (or Random) and press Generate. The tool builds a random account body for that country and computes valid check digits, giving you a complete example IBAN to copy.
- Will a generated IBAN pass validation?
- Yes. Each one is checked before it is shown, so it passes length, country-format and mod-97 checksum validation. You can confirm any of them in the IBAN validator.
- Is anything sent to a server?
- No. The IBANs are generated entirely in your browser; nothing you generate is uploaded, logged or stored.
